Abstract:
The basic condition of transport planning is ensuring the transportation safety inside and outside the area to be used. The lanes for trucks must be separated from other lanes clearly. The business vehicle just can enter the outdoor or underground parking lots through the line of Xincheng Road and the central circle transportation square. Therefore, the business vehicles can be separated from trucks. Huawei Company requires the engineers to be in charge of the whole project, whose scheme-preliminary design-detailed design-completion and use should be fully controlled by architects.

On the basis of the experiment on shear failure of 11 L-shaped section broad-limb frame columns subjected to low cyclic loading, the influence of horizontal looading angle, embedded column and ratio of section width to height on its shear behavior has been analyzed as well a selements. shear failure mechanism. From the results it is indicated that L-shaped section broad-limb-columns have higher shear strength with oblique loads. The embedded column with proper bar would reinforce members. shear strength and ductility. The members. brittleness will rise with ratio of its section height to width increasing inthe process of shear failure.

Abstract:
A simplified softened truss model orig inates from concept of stru-t tie lever and satisfies equilibrium, compatibility, and the constitutive laws of cracked reinforced concrete. It is expounded transitive path and design procedure of the simplified softened truss model. A simplified softened truss model for design and analyses the shear strength of external joint of frmework is proposed, the parameters reviewed include the concrete strength, the amount of vertical hoop and the amount of horizontal hoop. It is therefore recommended that the current shear design procedures for external joint of framework be reformed and utilized to incorporate the actual shear-resisting mechanisms as postulated by the simplified softend truss model, and the calculated values are in good agreement with the check values.

Sun Xujie, Zheng Wenzhong
2008, 38(4): 44-45,81. doi: 10.13204/j.gyjz200804012
Abstract:
Considering that some technicians have vague understanding in general safety reserve of reinforced concrete structural member, the ratio of the mean value of resistance to the mean value of load effects K is derived for reinforced concrete flexural members and axial compression members, which comes from concepts of mean value, nominal value and design value of load and mean value, nominal value and design value of strength of material. For flexural members, K is about 118~ 213 and for compression members, it is about 211~ 2181 Through analyzing general safety reserve of reinforced concrete structural member, designers will understand that on the one hand they should comply with code in structural design, on the other hand, they should keep their head in case of slight quality issue or slight overload on structures.
STRESS OF REINFORCEMENT IN REINFORCED CONCRETE FLEXURAL MEMBERS WITH CONTROLLED CRACK WIDTH
Lu Qinxian, Hu Di
2008, 38(4): 46-49. doi: 10.13204/j.gyjz200804013
Abstract:
After the influencing factors on crack width in reinforced concrete members are analyzed, the formulas to calculate the limited stress of reinforcement to control the crack width are derived, and the succinct formulas of computing allowable stress of reinforcement are put forward by considering the maximum crack width and typical values of influencing factors, also the charts can be made. The control of crack width will be achieved if the stress is less than the allowable value, thus avoid calculating the crack width under service load. An example is used to compare and analysis theoretical results obtained from various codes.

2008, 38(4): 50-53,60. doi: 10.13204/j.gyjz200804014
Abstract:
In this paper, from results of K 0 compression tests and slaking tests on both dry clay and saturated clay in Olympic Park, some conclusions are obtained: in e-lgp paragraph, when the normal compressed dry clay is wetted under different stresses, the void ratios all reach compression line of saturated clay; while different over compressed dry clay in the same pre-consolidation pressure is wetted, the void ratios also reach one line approx imately. Concluding from the results of slaking tests, a mathematical description is worked out to describe wetting deformations under K0 compression. Using this mathematic description, a prediction for wetting deformations is given out and it agree well with the tests results.

Abstract:
To study the effects of reinforcement forms on the load bearing behavior of deep pile caps, through the destructive tests of three nine-pile caps with different forms of reinforcement, the load-bearing mechanism and failure modes of the pile caps. The analytical results proved that the load bearing behavior of pile caps conforms to stru-t and-tie models, reinforcement arranged in bunch can make full use of the tensile performance of reinforcement, mat reinforcement arranged in the middle of pile cap can delay the splitting of concrete struts, and the combination of bunch reinforcement and middle mat reinforcement can increase the bearing capacity of pile caps effectively. Finally, some suggestions on designing pile cap reinforcement are given.

Abstract:
Through laboratory tests on sandy pebble soil by using the dynamic triaxial test, studies of saturated sandy pebble soil was done. It is analyzed the rule of the damping ratio of sandy pebble soil under different confining pressure, consolidation ratio and vibration frequency. The research makes clear that damping ratio markedly rises with the augmentation of dynamic strain, and falls as the enhance of confining pressure or confining pressure ratio. In addition, result also shows that damping ratio reduces with the accretion of vibration frequency.

Then, the bilinear damage evolution model is adopted to describe the meso-element. s damage degradation, and the failure mechanism of wet screened, three-graded, four-graded concrete specimens under uniaxial compression is simulated with nonlinear finite element method. Furthermore, size effect on the strength is analyzed in the paper. The results show that the numerical solutions are fitted with experiment results, and the fracture of concrete is generally generated along the bond between aggregate and matrix, Cracks are extended in a direction parallel to the maximum compression stress.

Abstract:
In order to investigate the stress-strain relationship and Poisson. s ratio of the polyurethane foam material, the quas-i static tensile, compression, and shear test was conducted at room temperature with the loading speed 2mmPmin and the results show that, the material has an excellent ductility behavior on compression, but on tension and shearing, it. s obviously brittle; the Poisson. s ratio is somewhat discrete, it. s about 0. 25. In addition, based on it. s stress-strain relationship curves, a simple fitting constitutive relation is given. By the constitutive relation a FEM model is got to simulate the experiment, and the results show the validity of the constitutive relation model.

Wang Xintang, Ji Yao, Wang Jianping
2008, 38(4): 82-86. doi: 10.13204/j.gyjz200804021
Abstract:
A computational model of buckling load of steel plane frames with sem-i rigid connections is put forward through establishing differential equations in buckling of the structures for each member of the structures and considering all the boundary conditions. The program is further developed and computaional results are presented. The results show that effect of joint flexibility and elastic bracing on buckling load of the structures is pronounced, which is valuable for considering the effect in design of steel frames against buckling of the whole structure. It should be especially noted that the buckling load or the equivalent buckling length factor of the plane steel structures are greatly influenced by the distribution of loads or ratio of loads, which was not considered well in present specification. The results show the other fact that effect of the sem-i rigid connections and the stiffness of bracing elements on the buckling load of the structures (or the factor of equivalent buckling length ) has a evident effect extent or limitation which show that variation of stiffness of sem-i rigid connections and the stiffness of bracing elements will have no effect on the buckling length when the stiffness of sem-i rigid connection or the bracing elements exceed a limited extent or value.

On the right of the annex is a club of 4-story frame structure. The tower is a RC frameshear wall structure, and the annex is a RC frame structure. In order to make the 6-story annex surrounded by the high rise building and the club becoming a 22-story structure, the original pile foundation under the column is reinforced by casting new concrete and placing reinforcements around the column to forming a big pile. The original independent foundation under the column is replaced by the new pile foundation, and the original frame columns are strengthened. For the column grids of annex and new structure are different, the transfer beam structure is set up on the top of 7th floor. The solution for some key problems in design of the reconstruction project is introduced, which can be served as reference for similar projects.
