  • The tensegrity is a key problem attracting much attention of the research of structure in recent years; but the application is difficult because of the rigid definition of tensegrity. It is briefly discussed the definition and characteristics of tensegrity, then not only designing tensegrity model rigidly according to tensegrity definition, but it also simulates the assemblage process of the complex model on the basis of manufacturing the simple model; the most of all, the rational hollow spherical joint is designed, which can be adjusted and disassembled.
