Abstract:
An extruded pile of nonuniform diameter-DX multi-section-extruding pile and DX extruding device are described in this paper.The technical characteristics of the DX extruding device and the YZJ extruding device are in detail compared. Finally the characteristics of DX pile are also introduced.

Abstract:
The mechanism of bearing capacity of DX piles are studied by a series of loading tests of full-sacle model DX Piles cast-in-situ. In the paper, bearing capacity comparisons between column piles and DX piles are made, and the load transmission mode of DX pile are studied, which provided the theoretical references for the bearing capacity design of the DX piles in the engineering practice.

Abstract:
Through static loading tests of full-scale model DX piles cast-in-situ, the distribution and development of the frictional resistance and the end bearing of DX piles are studied.The properties of the ratio of the frictional resistance and the end bearing to the pile head load are also discussed.

Abstract:
Full-scale model tests for DX piles cast in-situ were conducted. In this paper, the exertion of the unit shaft resistance and unit end resistance of DX piles are discussed, and the results are compared to those of column piles.

Abstract:
An extruding pile with branches and plates is the one deriving from the ordinary cast-in-situ concrete piles, by which the bearing capacity of a single pile can be raised substantially with a remarkable economic benefit. A new empirical formula is proposed for vertical ultimate bearing capacity of the extruding pile with branches and plates by analysing a lot of test pile data of the extruding piles with branches and plates, whose applicability is also verified.

A new structure of multi-rib slab lightweight frame is introduced. A computational model with 3-D beam and plate element is set up according to the system model. Correlation between experimental and FEA model results is studied in the light of the test results from vibration tables, and an example is given.

Abstract:
In order to satisfy the requirement of the plane multi member joints testing the multi-functional experimental facility has been developed. It is made of load-ring、steel tension-bar and jack. The biggest load of the experimental facility can be up to 4?000kN, and the specimen length in the experimental facility can be up to 3 5m. Besides above, the reliability and availability of this facility are proved by the inspection test and large scale steel tube joint tests.

Abstract:
Three schemes of structure designing are applied to a building made of concrete small hollow blocks in a real project, and the whole structure is computed. According to comparing and analysing the parameters and results of different schemes, the possibility of applying block masonry to high buildings or the buildings with wide rooms in seismic regions of intensity 8 is discussed, and the details of seismic design are pointed out.

Abstract:
The problems of dynamic stability of different cross-section and material of a column subjected to vertical harmonic load are discussed . The difference between dynamic unstable regions in different cross-section shapes and different materials is studied. Further more the influence of damping force and size-effect of rods on the stability of the column is discussed, and concludes methodology of calculating length of column stability is advanced.

Abstract:
The influence of compounding polypropylene fiber and expansion on flexure strength, impermeability and the shrinkage deformation is studied.The experimental results show the comparing with the single effect of either polypropylene fiber or expansive agent, the compounding of them can enhance 28 days flexure strength by 7^5% and 9^9% and reduce the permeability height by 46% and 61% separately and it can also sharply increase the anti-cracking property.The polypropylene fiber can obviously restrict the 7~14 days expansion of expansive concrete.

Abstract:
Based on prototype tests of flexible flanges for long-span electric transmission tower in Wusongkou, the forced process, failure pattern, load bearing-capacity and deformation etc of flexible flanges are systematically studied, and the influence of thickness of flanges, distance between bolts and edge of flanges, and diameter of bolts on behaviors of flanges and welding seams are also investigated. The studies show that the flexible flanges have good behaviors and their use in Wusongkou tower (500kV) is validated.

In the design of the steel-concrete composite frames, initial rotation stiffness needs to be determined, for elastic analysis and serviceability calculation. Abstract:
This paper points out the slabs flexure stiffness of a slab-column structure subjected to horizontal forces changes along its span. The flexure stiffness of slab intersected with column is smaller than that of midspan slab. According to the principle which slabs stiffness equals to equivalent beams stiffness, the formula of calculating width for equivalent beam with equal width is given out by using finite element analysis. The calculated result is basically in accordance with that of the test.

Abstract:
Comparing the constructional characteristic of thin-walled steel pipe reinforced by sticking steel plate outside and that of sandwich shell, thin-walled steel pipe reinforced by sticking steel plate outside can be converted to monolayer shell with equivalent stiffness and equivalent thickness based on experimentation.Thus theory of thin shell can be directly used to analyse mechanical behavior of combination structure.The theoretical evaluation results have good agreements with those of the test which may be a reference for engineering applications.

Abstract:
A detection of inside cracks of bracing beams for an autoclave at a factory is carried out, and the causes of their cracking are analyzed in two aspects.The bracing beams under the working situation are simulated using ANSYS, and the results are in agreement with actuality.At the end, some suggestions are proposed to prevent similar beams from cracking.
