Based on The Technical Specification for Strengthening Concrete Structures(CECS 25:90), the basic calculating theory of strengthening RC compression member with enlarging cross-section is introduced;design process is coded and software development is also realized using Visual Basic 6^0 software.Stengthening model and calculating method of enlarging cross-section of compression member in SEU-DEEP is further given;finally an example is used to show this course.
