Based on the effective stress principle and according to dissipation of excess pore water pressure, consolidation of the clay around the pile and failure mode of pile- soil interface, an analytical solution to predict time- dependent ultimate bearing capacity of the driven pile is obtained. Results from the presented analytical solution are in agreement with those of the site tests.

Firstly, the analytic solution of the coupling response considering the changing parameters with the space is brought forward; and the analytic solution for the changing parameters with the time is put forward subsequently. So a compact and perspicuous method for the research on the mechanical behaviors of the underground pipelines under traffic loads is provided.

2004, 34(8): 44-46,61. doi: 10.13204/j.gyjz200408015
Abstract:
At 80 e curing condition, alkali aggregate reaction expansion could be long- term effectively inhibited by Li2CO3 at the alkali content of 21 5%. Also, the higher the alkali reactivity of the aggregate was, the better the inhibiting effect of Li2CO3 showed. To the mortars with Li2CO3 at the same Li/Na molar ratio, the inhibiting effect was raised when the alkali reactivity of the aggregate was increased. To the mortars with zeolitization perlite, if alkali aggregate reaction expansion was inhibited effectively, the effect of Li2CO3 on expansion was not raised correspondingly when the LiPNa molar ratio was further increased. In addition, both the compressive strength and the flexural strength of the mortars would decrease when Li2CO3 was added. The more Li2CO3 was added, the more the strength would decrease. At the same alkali content conditions, the initial and final setting time of cement was shortened when Li2CO3 was added and the higher the LiPNa molar ratio of Li2CO3 was, the shorter the setting time was.

2004, 34(8): 66-69. doi: 10.13204/j.gyjz200408022
Abstract:
Introducing the concept of unbalanced forces between internal forces and external loads, an approach for analysis of nonlinear response of steel frames subjected to fire is developed. The actual temperature elevation of structures in real fires can be followed by this approach. Both the temperature-dependent material nonlinear ity and geometrical nonlinearity are taken into account. The non-uniform profile of temperature across the cross section of structural members is also considered. The fire-resistant test on three models of steel frames carried out at Tongji University in 1996 is presented. The validity and effectiveness of the approach is verified by good prediction to the nonliear behavior of steel frames tested in fire.
