Most of the architectural designs overweight the form and structure, and neglect the detailed design for the appearance of the building to a certain degree, thereby such kinds of designs make the appearance of the building being devoid of the character of refinement. In allusion to this phenomenon, this article tries to explore such kind of design laying stress on the materials, components and structure of the facade, and analyzes and discusses such kind of design method which reflects the refinement of the appearance of the building by the detailed design for the facade, through practical project designs.

Abstract:
Time and depth are adopted to analyse excess pore water pressure caused by static pressed pile in soft clay, and a 3D analytical formula is achieved. Based on the effective stress principle and according to dissipation of excess pore water pressure, consolidation of the clay around the pile and failure mode of pile- soil interface, an analytical solution to predict time- dependent ultimate bearing capacity of the driven pile is obtained. Results from the presented analytical solution are in agreement with those of the site tests.

Abstract:
The parameters of the pipeline- soil system have the dynamic character under the impetus loads. So the Eular-Bernoulli elastic beam model under traffic loads is set up. Firstly, the analytic solution of the coupling response considering the changing parameters with the space is brought forward; and the analytic solution for the changing parameters with the time is put forward subsequently. So a compact and perspicuous method for the research on the mechanical behaviors of the underground pipelines under traffic loads is provided.

Through an experimental research on thirty specimens of steel reinforced concrete and steel fiber reinforced concrete (SFRC)two-pile thick cap of 1∶5 model ratio, the main factors that influence the ultimate bearing capacity of SFRC two-pile thick cap are analyzed systematically. The calculation formula of the ultimate bearing capacity of SFRC caps is developed by method of the least-square.By comparing with common reinforced concrete thick caps, their ultimate bearing capacity is raised remarkably.

The property of expansion and drying shrinkage of small concrete hollow blocks is one of the main causes that results in cracks of a block building; and people have attached importance to their harm. Tests were conducted with walls of the same dimension in a room designed by ourselves to ensure invariable relative humidity. Through the tests, the influence of relative humidity, time, duration surfacing materials on deformation of block walls was investigated. Also, the shrinkage ratio of block walls was achieved under 65% relative humidity and 45% relative humidity, which may be a reference for the design of such walls.

Abstract:
At 80 e curing condition, alkali aggregate reaction expansion could be long- term effectively inhibited by Li2CO3 at the alkali content of 21 5%. Also, the higher the alkali reactivity of the aggregate was, the better the inhibiting effect of Li2CO3 showed. To the mortars with Li2CO3 at the same Li/Na molar ratio, the inhibiting effect was raised when the alkali reactivity of the aggregate was increased. To the mortars with zeolitization perlite, if alkali aggregate reaction expansion was inhibited effectively, the effect of Li2CO3 on expansion was not raised correspondingly when the LiPNa molar ratio was further increased. In addition, both the compressive strength and the flexural strength of the mortars would decrease when Li2CO3 was added. The more Li2CO3 was added, the more the strength would decrease. At the same alkali content conditions, the initial and final setting time of cement was shortened when Li2CO3 was added and the higher the LiPNa molar ratio of Li2CO3 was, the shorter the setting time was.

Tests on sixteen concrete-filled steel RHS(Rectangular Hollow Section) stub columns were reported. The main objective was to investigate the influence of concrete compaction on the section capacities and modulus of concrete-filled steel RHS stub columns. It was found that better compaction of concrete resulted in higher values of the section capacity and higher elastic modulus of concrete-filled steel tubes. The tests show the importance of good concrete compaction for concretefilled steel RHS stub columns.

Introducing the concept of unbalanced forces between internal forces and external loads, an approach for analysis of nonlinear response of steel frames subjected to fire is developed. The actual temperature elevation of structures in real fires can be followed by this approach. Both the temperature-dependent material nonlinear ity and geometrical nonlinearity are taken into account. The non-uniform profile of temperature across the cross section of structural members is also considered. The fire-resistant test on three models of steel frames carried out at Tongji University in 1996 is presented. The validity and effectiveness of the approach is verified by good prediction to the nonliear behavior of steel frames tested in fire.

Bending tests of twelve steel tube confined high strength concrete elements have been carried out. Flexural behavior of the steel tube confined high strength concrete element was investigated. The strip method was adopted to calculate the section moment-curvature relationship curves of the specimens. Based on the test results the moment-curvature relationship curve was simplified to a trip-linear model. The equation of the model was expressed with section bending stiffness and the formula of calculating the flexural capacity of steel tube confined high strength concrete element was given.

Due to the unique mechanics characters, the analysis and design process of membrane structure is quite different from traditional structures. In this paper, some key problems of membrane structure analysis were discussed. The first question is how to determine the load case, especially for wind effects. Then, the structural analysis methods and some questions should be note were presented. It also introduced some design software of membrane structures. Moreover, it is recommended in this paper that the specified maximum displacement and stress of membrane structure, which can be used to assess the structural performance and select cable and membrane members.

According to the Unified Theory, the concrete-filled steel tube( CFST) columns with different sections subjected to axial compression are analyzed by FEM, whose mean stress-strain curves are also obtained. The results of analysis shows that the changes in behaviors for various forms of CFST members are continuous. And the composite strength standard and design values for various forms are given.
