Huang Yasheng, Chen Xiaobao, Ma Hongwang, Yang Jianjun, LüMengying
2005, 35(6): 14-16. doi: 10.13204/j.gyjz200506004
Abstract:
Due to the high-strength steel and prestress, the ductility of section of prestressed concrete frame becomes small. The ductility can be improved by adopting partial prestressed concrete section. In order to improve aseismic level of prestressed concrete frame, the prestress degree and reinforcement percentage will be limited. To form a beam hinging collapse mechanism, the limit strength of beam should be controlled. In the light of this thought, the codes of foreign countries have contained the requirement of aseismic design in the end section of frame beam. This requirement is incompatible with the crack resistance requirement, which results in the increase in beam height. This paper puts forward the design thought of a beam hinging collapse mechanism with non- end- section plastic hinges under strong earthquake and the aseismic capability of a prestressed concrete frame by this design thought is also demonstrated by an example.

Zong Lan, Sui Chengquan
2005, 35(6): 17-20. doi: 10.13204/j.gyjz200506005

It has been improved that when the joints slip, they soften the otherwise rigid wall and educe the seismic response, so it enhances the ductility and the ability of energy dissipation.

2005, 35(6): 21-25. doi: 10.13204/j.gyjz200506006
Abstract:
It is explored that the effect of varying the damping ratio and stiffness of engineering structure on earthquakeaction. The analytic result shows that the increased damping ratio can effectively reduce the structural dynamic response. Theenhanced stiffness can mitigate the structural displacement response. But it can not effectively control the structuralacceleration response. Based on the analysis and conclusion of the recent research results, and then combined with theseismic code, the modified formula for seismic coefficient of engineering structure using the viscoelastic damper is given atlast.

The seismic response analysis of the composite foundation inShanghai is carried out using the developed FEM program. From analysis results, it is shown that the dynamic FEM model oflayered, transversely isotropic composite foundation is feasible and applicable. And the results show that it is necessary totake account of anisotropy of composite foundation in the seismic analysis of composite foundation.

Li Haifang, Gong Xiaonan
2005, 35(6): 49-51,25. doi: 10.13204/j.gyjz200506014
Abstract:
Since piles are set into a composite foundation under an embankment, it can not be directly analyzed in the plane strain way . To analyze the factors influencing its settlement, a representative segment method is developed and 3-D analysis of composite foundation settlement under embankment is done. Compared with the traditional plane strain method that needs to unreasonably suppose the piles as walls, the representative segment method is more reasonable. The changing law of the normalized compressive deformation of stabilized layer and sub- layer of a composite foundation under an embankment is finally analyzed by FEM and ABAQUS program.

2005, 35(6): 52-55,60. doi: 10.13204/j.gyjz200506015
Abstract:
The resistance of tension DX pile consists of the frictional resistance of pile shaft and the resistance of loadcarryingplate. In comparison with the frictional resistance in tension pile, the latter is studied very little both in theory and inexperiment. Several calculation methods of tension resistance of the plate are proposed or identified. The compressive endresistance and tensile resistances of the plate are compared with each other. A few experimental results are analyzed on thebasis of the above calculations. It is found that the failure mode and the resistance of the plate of tension DX pile are relatedwith soil property, the size and depth of the plate. Generally, tensile resistance of the plate is less than compressive oneconsiderably, and the reduction factor is about 0.3~ 0.4.
