Based upon the emergence mechanism of structural weak point when high- rise building is spli-t level, the crux ofthe matter is pointed out. A point of view to distinguish architecturally spli-t level building between structurally split-levelbuilding is put forward. The idea to become non- split-level structurally for an architecturally split-level building ispresented. A design method to eliminate weak point by tectonic treatment is put forward.
