The study on the buildingsc capacity in old area of a city is a system engineering which deals with a wide area. It is analysed that the factors which effect the buildingsc capacity in old area of city. It is also put forward the method to confirm the buildingsc capacity and the developing intensity, which is based on the estimate for parking capacity. Which can provide a guide to exploitation, protection and the sustainable development in old area of city.
