The determination of vertical rigidity of single pile in GB 5004096 Code for Design Dynamic Machine
Foundation adopted the theory of rigidity pile. Actually,piles are not rigid solid. In 1979 or 1987,the determination
of the rigidity adopted the theory of elastic pile under condition of constant lateral rigidity in Code for Design Dynamic
Machine Foundation of CCCP. The paper adopted Finite element method to determine the rigidity under condition of
variable lateral rigidity and discussed those determination methods,and put forward the rigidity values,which might
be used in design.
