MECHANICAL PROPERTY AND DESIGN PROPOSITION OF SERIES COMPRESSION RUBBER ISOLATOR
Abstract
As a new type of isolator,series compression rubber isolator was composed of isolated layer rubber and
steel plate,which had higher vertical bearing capacity and vertical stiffness but lower horizontal stiffness. Though it
was extensively used in vibration isolation of heavy machine with horizontal vibration, the dynamic parameters of the
isolator could not yet be obtained by calculation. The calculation method of the dynamic parameters and the design
method of the isolator were proposed by reference to current research fruits.
