Characteristics of different flexible foundations of storage tanks were discussed and compared. The method
how to determine the thickness and height of ringwall was researched. Meanwhile,calculation method for force of
ringwall was analyzed. It was emphasized those concerned problems,such as selection,design and construction of the
flexible foundation of the tank.
