EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON THE MECHANIC BEHAVIOR OF STEEL FIBRE AND PP-FIBRE REINFORCED CONCRETE NOTCHED PANELS

  • An experimental study on 36 notched flexural panels with steel fiber and PP fiber has been carried out.The load-deflection curves,load-crack mouth opening displacement curves and crack mouth opening displace ment-deflection curves have been analyzed.The research results on the energy absorption of FRC notched panels with different fiber types and fiber contents at various deformation stages are presented.The results indicate that steel fiber can obviously improve the bending resistance;the bending behavior of the concrete notched panel with 6 kg /m3 PP fiber is close to that of the one with 20 kg /m3 steel fiber.
