Abstract
Static loading tests for DX piles with single and double bulbs installed in plastic clay were conducted in field. Their ultimate bearing capacities is determined, its load transfer mechanism is analysed, and the distribution and development of the skin-friction resistances, the bulb resistances and the tip resistances of DX piles of these two kinds are studied
