Isolation Structure is a new kind of structure, which has been used widely in recent years. This article uses SAP2000 program and finite element analysis method to apply the isolation technology to a real project-110kV switch building in 330kV Xibeijiao substation in Xian and gets the internal force caused by temperature stress. Its the first time to use isolation technology in electric systems and get wonderful effect. Besides this, the article discusses the temperature stress in isolation building and compares the results in different type of engineering.
