Abstract
It is analyzed and proposed the nine flexural failure modes and the conditions of their mutual transformation, which may occur in RC beams strengthened with CFRP sheets. On the basis of which the bearing capacities of the strengthened beams with common failure modes are also given, and the conclusions are verified by the test data from literatures.
