Through comparing the advantages with disadvantages between normal tension anchor and compression dispersive anchor and test in project site, it can be seen that compression dispersive anchor is of much more significant characteristics including higher bearing capacity and good economy and better adaptability. At the same time, the reasons impacting on the bearing capacity of compression dispersive anchor and how to control them also be pointed out, which provides a guidance to the practice of compression dispersive anchor in ex cavation supporting engineering.
