It is studied the basic mechanical behaviour of resin in the sea water environment.Fifty sheets of the resin were put into sea water in laboratory while doing tensile tests at intervals.It was obtained the variance law of their strength, Youngs modulus and extensibility.At last,their strength-model was got and strength-formula was proposed.The results suggest that the corrosion by sea water has greater effect on resins.
