  • It is introduced the definition of effective bending rigidity ratios and moment increasing rates, and it also discusses the method which can be used to determine the effective bending rigidity ratios and moment increasing rates with beam-spring modal. The effect of the joint stiffness on the effective bending rigidity ratios and moment increasing rates is researched, thus presenting the fitting formula of the effective bending rigidity ratios and moment increasing ratios, which has guidance to designing shield segment.
