It is des igned a contrast experiment on two s ets of two-s pan and two- story RC frames under low cycle reversed loading, One frame has construction joints while the other has not. According to the experiment results, hysteres is behavior, ductility, rigidity degeneration etc. are studied systematically. And studies show that the RC frame without construction joints has better seismic performance than the other .
