Xue Suduo, holding a doctoral degree from Hong Kong Polytechnic University, at present serves as a professor, a doctoral supervisor and the director of the Spatial Structure Research Center at Beijing University of Technology. He is an expert enjoying special government allowances of the State Council, a well-known teacher in Beijing, a leading talent in the Beijing High-level Innovation and Entrepreneurship Talent Support Program, an executive member of the International Association for Shell and Spatial Structures (IASS), and the president of the Spatial Structure Branch, China Steel Construction Society. He has been engaged in the research of long-span spatial structure for a long time and published more than 300 academic papers.
