The energy dissipation braced-frame system which is one of the passive control techniques has been applied wildly in civil engineering. As yet, the finite element analysis method which requires complex calculation process for this structure system is not easy for civil engineer to handle and limits the further application of this system. So it is necess ary to perfect the utility des ign method.
