STRUCTURE DESIGN OF LONG-SPAN HANGAR WITH HUGE PIPE TRUSSES

  • The roof structure of huge main pipe truss + second plane truss was used in final phase /flight line hangarin Tianjin Airbus A320 project. A high-strength bolt-plate connection in the main pipe truss was firstly used at home.In this paper,the mechanical features of the structure were analyzed; the design of high-strength bolt-plateconnections in pipe truss was introduced in detail. The design and construction of this hangar demonstrates that themechanical features were simple and definite for the main-second truss system,the construction of the high-strengthbolt plate connections in pipe truss is simple,which can shorten the construction time.
