The different fatigue life of CFRP strengthened steel beams and unstrengthened ones were compared under medium-high cycle and low stress range fatigue test, and the fitting result of the test was analyzed.It was shown that the fatigue life could be improved by gluing CFRP on the sensitive area of the bottom flange of steel beam.The fatigue life of steel beams with initial fatigue crack could also be restored to the level of undamaged ones by gluing CFRP.
