It was introduced a new type air-cooling tower,which was built up with triangular lattice structural system and horizontal stiffened rings.Under actions of dead & live loads,earthquake,temperature and wind loads,modeling and calculating work was done by STAAD software.Statical features and spatial performance of this structural system were discussed|distribution regularities of internal forces were analyzed for all kinds of members.And by changing stiffened rings quantities and diameter-to-camber ratio,the differences were achieved.Conclusion shows that this system has good structural integrity,bigger lateral stiffness and wind resisting capacity|it is suitable for construction of air-cooling tower.
