  • Taking a project in Dalian for example,it was analyzed the characteristics and difficulties of the ground improvement in newly reclaimed complex karst areas,i t was proposed a the workable,more innovative composite foundation improvement method: composite foundation combined vibro replacement stone colunmn and plain concrete pile.The paper also introduced its application in a newly redaimed area with complex cavity.
