EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON FLEXURAL FATIGUE PERFORMANCE OF RC BEAMS STRENGTHENED WITH HYBRID FIBER SHEETS

  • The variable amplitude test of BC beams was investigated with 5 specimens, in which the flexural fatiguebehavior of RC beams strengthened with carbon /glass hybrid fiber sheets and carbon /basalt hybrid fiber sheets wasstudied, and compared with that of RC beams strengthened with basalt fiber sheets. Experimental results showed thatthe anti-faigue properties of RC beams stengthened with hybrid fiber sheets was better, and the fatigue life wassignificantly prologed. Based on the root mean square(RMS) method, the S - N curves formula on variable amplitudefatigue was proposed, which may be reference for the engineering design.
