Simulation of the blasting demolition of RC frames was carried out with the dynamic finite element software of ANSYS/LS-DYNA. The calculated result of simulation was very close to the real condition, which meant that using proper numerical model and parameters could simulate such complex problem as the collapse of RC frames, the quantitative analysis and optimization of the real blasting project.
