THE DEFORMATION ANALYSIS OF STRUCTURE OF SUNKEN CAVE

  • Sunken cave, which is warm in winter and cool in summer, is Chinese earth construction. Cave is the most convenient and cheapest living pattern for people on Loess Plateau. It is particularly important to inherit and develop sunken cave nowadays when low carbon is highly promoted. So it is meaningful to study the deformation analysis of structure of sunken cave. In this paper, finite element method was adopted to analyze the deformation of structure of sunken cave and explained that the UH model was more suitable in the analysis. At last, the deformation characteristics was draw, and the weakest part of sunken caves was found out.
