Asymptotic State(AS) model for normally consolidated clay was extended to asymptotic state model for K0 consolidated clays. The formulation of partially coupled parameter was deduced under triaxial compression condition.A function of partially coupled parameter associated with Lodes angle was proposed. Modified Cam-clay (MCC) model and AS model for K0 consolidated clay were applied to predict stress-strain relationship under triaxial compression and extension conditions. The comparison between predicted results showed that AS model for K0 consolidated clay was more reasonable in describing constitutive relations.
