VERTICAL SEISMIC RESPONSE ANALYSIS OF LONG-SPAN SPHERICAL SHELL STRUCTURE SUBJECT TO INCONSISTENT EXCITATION

  • In order to consider the vibration characteristics of spatial variation of long-span structure seismic response,equation of motion for the multi-point input of long-span structure is studied,seismic response of the long-span structures is analyzed by the principle of pseudo-excitation method.In general software ANSYS,multi-point input is considered as static calculations and harmonious response calculation.As the example analysis,the 80m single-layer reticulated spherical shell structure is analyzed,the vertical seismic response of the long-span spherical shell structure is obtained,statistical analysis of multi-point input and uniform earthquake are compared.Results show that multi-point input considering the travelling wave effect,the node displacement and internal force distribution of long-span spherical shell structure is more complex than unifirm earthquake.So,it is very necessary to fully consider multi-point input motion.
