EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON SEISMIC BEHAVIOR OF FOUR-ANGLE COMPOSITE STEEL FRAME WITH CROSS-STIFFENED STEEL PLATE SHEAR WALLS

  • Based on the experiment of a model of one-bay, two-story four-angle composite steel frame with cross-stiffened steel plate shear walls under cyclic load, it was analyzed the mechanical property and failure mechanism of the structure, and also researched the hysteretic behavior, the failure mode, ductility and energy dissipation.The experimental results demonstrate that the structural system has large initial stiffness and good ductility and energy dissipation.The structural system loses its bearing capacity because of forming plastic hinges at the column feet.
