The development of sustainable building has a practical significance for alleviating resource constraints and maintaining the environment.It is required that the wall materials should have characteristics of energy and land conservation, using scrap.Straw is an excellent green wall material because of easily obtained, simple processing and low cost.It is carried out a comprehensive analysis of single-straw brick structure and physical properties and elaborated the composition and behavior of several straw composite panels, it is revealed that the straw wall has the unique advantages in the energy conservation, economy, thermal insulation and environmental protection, and the development of straw wall may be a new idea for future energy-saving wall.
