Based on the data of six HRBF500 RC columns cycle loading test,yield displacement and hysteretic energy of columns are calculated at the different axial compression ratio,shear span ratio and stirrup ratio.According to some problems of the classical model,scale parameter is proposed to coordinate the displacements of cycle loading and monotonic loading for amending the classical model.The columnsdamage process is analyzed by the amended dynamic model.The trend and law of the damage process are summarized considering the effect of axial compression ratio,shear span ratio and stirrup ratio.Finally the criterion for evaluation and design proposals are given.
