  • Building foundation design includes the calculations of subgrade bearing capacity,subsoil deformation and foundation design.Bearing capacity is involved in the determination of base pressure pk and depth correction.Deformation calculation requires the solution of base supplementary pressure p0.The foundation reaction needs to be determined in the calculations of foundation design.When groundwater exists in the subgrade foundation soils,the calculation of base pressure,foundation reaction,base supplementary pressure and how to correct depth of bearing capacity become more complicated.Through discussing the impact of groundwater in the calculation of base pressure,foundation reaction,base supplementary pressure and depth correction of bearing capacity,this paper educes the calculation method of these design parameters.
