AN STUDY ON APPLICATION OF HIGH EARLY STRENGTH ADMIXTURES IN RAILWAY PRESTRESSED CONCRETE

  • It is studied the influence of fly ash,granulated blast furnace slag and high early admixtures on compressive strength of concrete.The results of experiments show that high early admixtures can promote the early strength and the elastic modulus to satisfy the design standard.But the creep of concrete will be doubled when loading at early age,Based on the conclusion of this paper,it is suggested that the tension of reinforcement should be pressesed later,so as to guarantee the quality of the prestressed members.
