RESEARCH ON CRACKING BEHAVIOR OF A NEW TYPE OF UHTCC FRAME BEAM-COLUMN JOINTS

  • To investigate the influence of joint core volume reinforcement ratio and axial compression ratio on crack behavior of ultra high toughness cementitious composite(UHTCC) joints,nine specimens of UHTCC beam-column joints were tested under reversed low cyclic loading. The results showed that UHTCC could effectively control crack width and increase axial compression ratio,which could raise the crack resistance capacity of the joint. Based on the test results,a theoretical formula of crack resistance capacity was proposed. The calculated results were compared with those of the test,and a good agreement was obtained.
