Underground pipelines play a decisive role in maintaining the functions of modern cities and regional economies. There are still less researches on the aseismic performance of underground pipelines as compared with theoretic ones. Two layered soil shear sandboxes of same design are used to simulate the boundary conditions of the soil. It is explored the dynamic response law of underground pipelines subjected to non-uniform excitations by means of base input. It is also examined the effect of change in many factors on pipeline-soil interaction by changing the diameter and depth of pipes,adjusting the frequency and amplitude of the base input.
