Abstract

Abstract

In the progress of rapid urbanization,the old industrial buildings are vanishing with the change in industries. The conservation and reuse of the old industrial buildings having a history memory of the city have become important issues faced with architects. With one old industrial building in Changsha as the case,the paper points out that the conservation and reuse of the old industrial buildings should be started on urban sections according to their nature of value,and thus they can be renewed.
