MULTIELEMENT·SYMBIOSIS: A SIMPLE DISCUSSION ON RECONSTRUCTION OF QINGDAO　＂LIYUAN BUILDINGS＂

Liyuan Buildings,the special residential buildings,are one of the characteristics of Qingdao. It has a close relationship with the local culture,which also represents the history of this city. However,the current process of urbanization is a serious threat to the existence of such unique buildings. Therefore,it is urgent to protect the Liyuan Residence,and pass on and revitalize theLiyuan Culture. The methods of dynamic protection and regional linkage are used to reconstructLiyuan Buildignsfrom material,economy and cultures,thus realizing the goal of protection and sustainable development of Liyuan Building, which will be renewed and revitalized in the multiarchitectural and cultural era,and also become a dynamic mechanism of urban modernization.
