Abstract

Abstract

Based on the test results of eight eccentric in-plane beam-thin wall joints,combined with the nonlinear finite element parametric analyses,the mechanical behavior and force-transferring mechanism of the joint were analyzed. Then,the macro force and strut-and-tie transfer models of eccentric in-plane beam-thin wall joints were proposed. Based on the above research,the calculation and design methods were derived,which are effective and practical,compared with the test results.
