There were vertical and inclined cracks on the wall of a brick-concrete residential building in Hengyang City.It was showed the building could not meet the prescribed performance in term of strength and serviceability according to the results of identification.The foundation was strengthened and widened with grouting piles and the walls are strengthened with fine aggregate concrete.Satisfactory effect has been obtained after the reinforcement.
