BENDING TESTS AND NUMERICAL ANALYSIS OF CFRP STRENGTHENED RC BEAMS

  • It is conducted an experimental study on the flexural performance of 6 CFRP strengthened RC beams.Test results show that under certain conditions,when substituting GFRP U-hoops for partial CFRP U-hoops,the reinforcement effect will be about the same,but it can effectively reduce the cost of reinforcement,the test results provide a reference for engineering practice.CFRP reinforced concrete beams nonlinear problems can be simulated by ANSYS,the results are closer to those of the test,i.e.a difference is in 10%,hence to some extent,it can substitute for test analysis.
