RESEARCH ON LOCAL STEEL FIBER HIGH-STRENGTH REINFORCED CONCRETE SLABS SUBJECTED TO PUNCHING SHEAR

  • The influence of the concrete strength,volume of steel fiber and filling range of steel fiber on punching shear performance of slabs was discussed through the experiment on the 13 steel fiber high-strength reinforced concrete two-way simple slabs.Furthermore,the failure mechanism of slabs subjected to punching shear was discussed.The test results show that steel fiber can improve obviously the punching shear performance of slabs.With the increases of the volume or filling range of steel fiber,the punching shear bearing capacity and ductility of local steel fiber high-strength reinforced concrete slabs increased.It was observed that the punching shear ultimate bearing capacity and ductility hardly increased when the filling range of steel fiber was two times of slab thickness.The measure can reduce the steel fiber content.
