Abstract

Abstract

It is first introduced the writing process of the first Design Code for Steel Structures TJ 1774 as well as its special features.Afterwards,the major amendments in the two successive revisions are given in brief.It is mainly discussed the forthcoming revision work of the code,including the necessity of a comprehensive revision,principles to be followed in the revision and specified items to be revised.
