Results of tests performed on the effect of expansive agent in normal concrete and high volume fly ash concrete are presented.The expansive deformation ratio without restraint and the self-compressive stress under complete restraint are investigated in the tests with temperature-stress test machine(TSTM).The results indicate that combination of fly ash and expansive agent may produce a synergistic effect on the concrete under the specific condition.
