The bond between steel tube and concrete is an important problem of studying concrete filled square steel tube column. Three forms of bond state were designed for dividing the bond performance between steel tube and concrete. The influence of bond performance on compressive bearing capacity of the concrete-filled square steel tube column is analyzed and the experimental results are compared with the calculation values in the design regulations of concrete-filled steel tubes. From the results, it is indicated that the influence of bond is not notable for the ultimate bearing capacity of concrete-filled steel tube column and the results provided a reference for the design theory and the design method.
