Abstract

It is put forward a new design thought ) ) ) / infiltration and splicing0, directed towards the condition in a modern city, where the thymogenic space is fading away gradually. It is considered that the new design thought contains three levels: vocabulary, matter and spirit. They will reach to a balanceable mode, in which practical space, perceptive space and ex istence space will reach to the progressive and uniform condition. It is also analyzed the exertion of the new design thought about building thymogenic space in the modern city. through three instances such as the design of west gate of Xihu garden etcetera.
