THE MODIFIEDMVLE MODEL BASING ON THE PARAMETRIC VARIATIONAL PRINCIPLE

  • The modified mult-i vertica-l line-element (MVLE) model is solved by means of the parametric variational principle, and nonlinear analysis of short leg wall is performed in detail. The effect of shear lag and shear deformation is considered in this model, which is free of the restriction of plane assumption. Thus, it provides a good method for the shear wall. Finally, a simple example is given.
