  • The CFRP strengthening has the advantages of low density, high strength, facility, endurance, etc, so it has been widely applied to strengthen reinforced concrete structures. It is also applicable to the rehabilitation of steel structures. A simplified buckling analysis of steel compression members strengthened with CFRP is carried out, and formulae of the buckling loads and stability coefficients of the strengthened compression members are derived.
