  • The joint design of heavy-load is very important to prevent the collapse of a structure. Repeat low cycle loading tests are carried out on a new type of joint of heavy-load columns. The evaluations are made for the earthquake-resistant behavior of the joints. The test results show the new type of joint of heavy-load columns can provide higher shear bearing capacity and excellent aseismatic behavior.
